You have over two years to plan your trip.  You can travel to Alaska by road through Canada, by Air and by Cruise ship. 

The Cruise ships are scheduled for Anchorage, Alaska destination until the end of September.  You could travel to Alaska by cruise ship or return on a cruise ship after the conference.

There are still many tours still available around Alaska in September.
